MissionTrips

Centenary takes part in regular mission trips, bringing help and hope to communities across the US and overseas. Some of these trips are regularly scheduled; others are planned in response to natural disasters and crises as they occur.

Each year, the CUMC Jr. and Sr. high youth groups participate in a mission trip, combining hands-on help, faith exploration and fun.

This year the Sr. High youth will be working with the Missouri Conference of the United Methodist Church in New Orleans, LA.  The Jr. High will also be working with the MO UMC conference in the Cherokee Nation in Northern Oklahoma.

Both groups will be focused on community service projects such as assisting the elderly, tutoring struggling kids, painting and spruce-up of homes and facilities as well as serving in food kitchens.
